Crocodile leather
Genuine crocodile, never embossed calf and never a print. Every skin is farm-raised, and where CITES applies it travels with its permit. Each piece is made by hand, and because no two hides carry the same tile pattern, no two pieces look the same.

Crocodile is the skin most people picture when they think of exotic leather, and it is also the one most often faked. The tell is the tile. On a genuine hide the squares vary in size across the belly and the edges between them stay soft, because they grew that way. A print repeats. Embossed calf keeps a single grain running underneath the pattern. Neither one moves the way a real skin moves when it bends.
Every crocodile skin here is farmed and CITES certified. Because the tiles are never laid out twice the same way, a pair of shoes is cut from a panel chosen for where the squares fall across the vamp, and a bag is cut so the pattern sits square on the face. That is why two pieces of the same model do not match each other, and why we do not try to make them. The same skin runs through men's shoes, the jackets and the belts and accessories.
