Panarea Crocodile Slide
Hand painting shows most on a strap this wide. Colour lifts at the middle of each square tile and drops away at the seams, so the grid of the skin stays legible from across a room.
Two straps and nothing else. One sits over the toes, one across the instep, and the foot goes straight in. The footbed and the sole are plain black, so the straps carry all of the colour.
Smooth leather lining, full grain leather insole, leather outsole. Farm-raised crocodile, in burgundy and blue sapphire, EU 38 to 48.
Every skin is chosen individually, so no two pieces carry the same pattern.

Crocodile scales are horn rather than hide. Heat and direct sun dry them, and a dried tile lifts at the edge and will not lie flat again.
Wipe with a soft dry cloth along the run of the tiles. Blot rain rather than rubbing it, and let the piece dry in a cool room, never near a radiator or under a hairdryer.
Condition it two or three times a year with a product made for exotic leather, and use less than you think. Wax polish collects in the seams and takes the light out of them.
Keep it in its dust bag, unpressed and unstacked. Anything beyond a wipe is better brought to us.

How to measure
In order to select the correct shoe size, we recommend you measure your feet using the following guidelines.
Wear the kind of socks or tights you would normally wear with this type of shoe.
Stand up straight on a flat surface with your heel against a wall. If necessary, ask someone else to help you take the measurements.
Measure from the base of your heel, keeping it pressed against the wall, to the tip of your longest toe.
Always measure both feet and use your longest foot as your benchmark.
