Burano Crocodile Clutch
Square belly tiles sit down the middle of each face and break into fine round scales at the sides. The finish is high polish, in black or brown.
Two zip pulls meet at a safety locker, and that is the closure. An outside zip pocket runs across the front for what needs to come out first.
Inside, cow leather lining, a slot pocket, a pocket sized for a phone and a zip pocket. A wrist strap is fitted at the corner. 25.5 by 6 by 16 centimetres.
Every skin is chosen individually, so no two pieces carry the same pattern.

Crocodile scales are horn rather than hide. Heat and direct sun dry them, and a dried tile lifts at the edge and will not lie flat again.
Wipe with a soft dry cloth along the run of the tiles. Blot rain rather than rubbing it, and let the piece dry in a cool room, never near a radiator or under a hairdryer.
Condition it two or three times a year with a product made for exotic leather, and use less than you think. Wax polish collects in the seams and takes the light out of them.
Keep it in its dust bag, unpressed and unstacked. Anything beyond a wipe is better brought to us.
