Spoleto Crocodile Key Case
Large irregular scales cover both faces, raised at the centre and creased where they meet. The finish is high gloss, so the case reads as one black surface until the light moves across it.
A zip runs down the side and round both corners. Inside there is a ring to hold the keys and a soft reinforced lining so they do not mark the leather. The hook is chrome, on a swivel, and clips to a belt loop or a bag.
Sized for a car fob and a smart key. 9.5 by 4.5 by 2.5 centimetres. Farmed crocodile, CITES compliant.

Crocodile scales are horn rather than hide. Heat and direct sun dry them, and a dried tile lifts at the edge and will not lie flat again.
Wipe with a soft dry cloth along the run of the tiles. Blot rain rather than rubbing it, and let the piece dry in a cool room, never near a radiator or under a hairdryer.
Condition it two or three times a year with a product made for exotic leather, and use less than you think. Wax polish collects in the seams and takes the light out of them.
Keep it in its dust bag, unpressed and unstacked. Anything beyond a wipe is better brought to us.
