Murano Crocodile Toiletry Case
Rows of squared tiles cross the front and break into small round scales at the corners, where the skin turned. Each case is cut from a different hide, so the rows fall in a different place every time.
Structure holds it square, flat on the base and upright at the sides. The extended zip is what lets the opening lie back far enough to see everything at once.
One compartment, waterproof lining, one internal zip pocket. The top zip takes a leather puller. 25 by 13 by 13 centimetres, in black and brown.
Every skin is chosen individually, so no two pieces carry the same pattern.

Crocodile scales are horn rather than hide. Heat and direct sun dry them, and a dried tile lifts at the edge and will not lie flat again.
Wipe with a soft dry cloth along the run of the tiles. Blot rain rather than rubbing it, and let the piece dry in a cool room, never near a radiator or under a hairdryer.
Condition it two or three times a year with a product made for exotic leather, and use less than you think. Wax polish collects in the seams and takes the light out of them.
Keep it in its dust bag, unpressed and unstacked. Anything beyond a wipe is better brought to us.
