Siena Ostrich Sneaker
Ostrich leg is scaled rather than dimpled. The plates run in columns down the shin of the bird, and here they run down the toe and along the panels at the sides, so the direction of the skin follows the direction of the shoe.
The green is applied by hand, dark in the seams between scales and bright across their faces. Sizes 38 to 44, in emerald.
Inside, leather lining and a full-grain leather insole. The outsole is leather with a protective rubber layer, cut with a tread for grip.
Every skin is chosen individually, so no two pieces carry the same pattern.

Ostrich carries its own oils in the quill follicles, which is why it stays supple longer than most skins and why it needs less from you.
Wipe it with a soft dry cloth. The raised follicles collect dust around their base, so work gently around them rather than scrubbing across them.
Condition it once or twice a year at most, and lightly. Over-conditioned ostrich goes greasy around the quills and holds dirt.
Keep it out of direct sun and store it in its dust bag with the shape supported. Bring it to us for cleaning rather than using a solvent.
We ship worldwide. If a piece is faulty on our side we replace it or refund you. The choice is yours.

How to measure
In order to select the correct shoe size, we recommend you measure your feet using the following guidelines.
Wear the kind of socks or tights you would normally wear with this type of shoe.
Stand up straight on a flat surface with your heel against a wall. If necessary, ask someone else to help you take the measurements.
Measure from the base of your heel, keeping it pressed against the wall, to the tip of your longest toe.
Always measure both feet and use your longest foot as your benchmark.
