Montalcino Alligator Sneaker
Brogueing is borrowed from a formal shoe and set on a running shape, punched through alligator rather than through calf. It follows the wing at the toe and the long seam over the quarters.
The tiles run large across the toe and reduce along the sides, and the heel is wrapped in a separate panel of skin. Cow leather lining, a rubber outsole, a white midsole beneath.
Grey, light blue, white and yellow. EU 38 to 44. Wipe with a soft damp cloth, condition occasionally, and keep it in a dust bag or a box so the skin is not scratched.
Every skin is chosen individually, so no two pieces carry the same pattern.
- Material: Genuine alligator leather
- Skin: Small square scale tiles across the upper and heel
- Design: Runner silhouette with brogue perforations along the panel edges
- Closure: Lace-up with flat white laces
- Lining: Cow leather
- Outsole: Rubber, white midsole with a dark tread
- Colours: Grey, Light Blue, White, Yellow
- Sizes: EU 38 to 44
The scales are horn rather than hide, and they are what needs looking after. Keep the piece out of direct sun and away from radiators, which dry the tiles until their edges lift.
Wipe it with a soft dry cloth, working along the tiles rather than across them. If it is caught in rain, blot it and let it dry away from heat. Never dry it in front of a fire or with a hairdryer.
Use a conditioner made for exotic leather, sparingly, two or three times a year. Wax polish builds up in the seams between tiles and dulls them, so leave it alone.
Store it in its dust bag with nothing resting on it. Bring it to us before you attempt a repair.
We ship worldwide. If a piece is faulty on our side we replace it or refund you. The choice is yours.

How to measure
In order to select the correct shoe size, we recommend you measure your feet using the following guidelines.
Wear the kind of socks or tights you would normally wear with this type of shoe.
Stand up straight on a flat surface with your heel against a wall. If necessary, ask someone else to help you take the measurements.
Measure from the base of your heel, keeping it pressed against the wall, to the tip of your longest toe.
Always measure both feet and use your longest foot as your benchmark.
