Murano Ostrich Briefcase
Quill follicles are where the feathers were. They are raised in the middle of the skin and disappear at the flanks, so the crown of the case is dotted and the sides run smooth. The field of dots is set by the hide rather than by the cutter.
The case is structured and holds its shape when it is set down empty. It closes on a zip across the top. Inside, first-layer cowhide, one patch pocket and one zip pocket.
Twin rolled handles, and small metal feet at the base. 38 by 30 by 8 centimetres. Black, camel and grey.
Every skin is chosen individually, so no two pieces carry the same pattern.

Ostrich carries its own oils in the quill follicles, which is why it stays supple longer than most skins and why it needs less from you.
Wipe it with a soft dry cloth. The raised follicles collect dust around their base, so work gently around them rather than scrubbing across them.
Condition it once or twice a year at most, and lightly. Over-conditioned ostrich goes greasy around the quills and holds dirt.
Keep it out of direct sun and store it in its dust bag with the shape supported. Bring it to us for cleaning rather than using a solvent.
We ship worldwide. If a piece is faulty on our side we replace it or refund you. The choice is yours.
