Cortina Lizard Boot
Scale for scale, lizard is the finest of the exotic skins. The rows are small enough that from a pace away the boot reads as texture, and only up close does it separate into individual scales.
The patina is hand-applied and burnished back. Light cognac across the toe and the instep, deeper brown in the seams and around the heel. A band of smooth black leather trims the collar.
Seven pairs of eyelets, leather lining, full-grain leather insole. The outsole is rubber and deeply lugged. EU 38 to 46.
Every skin is chosen individually, so no two pieces carry the same pattern.

Lizard scales are small and set close, and they lie in one direction. Wipe along them with a soft dry cloth, never against them, or the edges begin to stand up.
Keep the piece out of direct sun and away from heat. Dry lizard cracks between the scales, where it cannot be repaired invisibly.
Condition it lightly once or twice a year with a product made for exotic leather. The scales are thin, so a heavy hand does more harm than none at all.
Store it in its dust bag with nothing pressing on it. Anything more than a wipe is a job for a specialist.

How to measure
In order to select the correct shoe size, we recommend you measure your feet using the following guidelines.
Wear the kind of socks or tights you would normally wear with this type of shoe.
Stand up straight on a flat surface with your heel against a wall. If necessary, ask someone else to help you take the measurements.
Measure from the base of your heel, keeping it pressed against the wall, to the tip of your longest toe.
Always measure both feet and use your longest foot as your benchmark.
