Livigno Alligator Boot
The upper is hand-farmed alligator, polished to a high shine. Large square tiles sit across the apron toe and grow smaller and tighter towards the collar. That is how the skin grows, so no two pairs carry the same pattern.
It laces through seven pairs of eyelets and takes a side zip, so it can be put on without unlacing. The lining is soft leather and the insole is full grain. The outsole is rubber and deeply cut, which is what makes this a boot for a wet pavement rather than a dry evening.
Black, olive green, dark blue and dark brown. EU 38 to 48.

The scales are horn rather than hide, and they are what needs looking after. Keep the piece out of direct sun and away from radiators, which dry the tiles until their edges lift.
Wipe it with a soft dry cloth, working along the tiles rather than across them. If it is caught in rain, blot it and let it dry away from heat. Never dry it in front of a fire or with a hairdryer.
Use a conditioner made for exotic leather, sparingly, two or three times a year. Wax polish builds up in the seams between tiles and dulls them, so leave it alone.
Store it in its dust bag with nothing resting on it. Bring it to us before you attempt a repair.
We ship worldwide. If a piece is faulty on our side we replace it or refund you. The choice is yours.

How to measure
In order to select the correct shoe size, we recommend you measure your feet using the following guidelines.
Wear the kind of socks or tights you would normally wear with this type of shoe.
Stand up straight on a flat surface with your heel against a wall. If necessary, ask someone else to help you take the measurements.
Measure from the base of your heel, keeping it pressed against the wall, to the tip of your longest toe.
Always measure both feet and use your longest foot as your benchmark.
