Bardolino Stingray Monk Strap Shoes
Beads are what you see first. Stingray carries thousands of them, calcified and round, and on this pair they run over the cap, the vamp and the quarters at the same density, which takes careful cutting at the seams.
Two straps close over the instep, one above the other, on square metal buckles. The cap toe is marked by a single seam. The toe itself is square with the corners softened.
Soft full grain lining, a full leather outsole with a rubber grip insert, EU 38 to 46, true to size.
Every skin is chosen individually, so no two pieces carry the same pattern.

The surface is thousands of calcified beads, which is why stingray resists scratching and water far better than hide. The colour, though, sits on top of those beads, and that is the part that wears.
Wipe it with a soft damp cloth and dry it at once. Do not scrub. An abrasive cloth or a household cleaner takes the colour off the crowns of the beads and leaves them pale.
It needs no conditioner. Leather trims, linings and piping do, so treat those and leave the stingray itself alone.
Store it in its dust bag away from direct sun. Bring it to us if the colour has worn through anywhere.

How to measure
In order to select the correct shoe size, we recommend you measure your feet using the following guidelines.
Wear the kind of socks or tights you would normally wear with this type of shoe.
Stand up straight on a flat surface with your heel against a wall. If necessary, ask someone else to help you take the measurements.
Measure from the base of your heel, keeping it pressed against the wall, to the tip of your longest toe.
Always measure both feet and use your longest foot as your benchmark.
