Bardolino Stingray Derby
Each bead on a stingray skin is calcified, which is why the surface resists scratching and water in a way hide does not. Polished flat, the beads catch the light in points, so black reads grey across the toe.
Smooth leather binds the facings and the topline, run against the grain of the beads. The lacing is open, three pairs of eyelets, and the skin carries its natural eye at the centre.
Soft leather lining, full-grain leather insole, leather outsole, with the edges finished by hand.
Black with grey highlights. EU 38 to 46.
Every skin is chosen individually, so no two pieces carry the same pattern.

The surface is thousands of calcified beads, which is why stingray resists scratching and water far better than hide. The colour, though, sits on top of those beads, and that is the part that wears.
Wipe it with a soft damp cloth and dry it at once. Do not scrub. An abrasive cloth or a household cleaner takes the colour off the crowns of the beads and leaves them pale.
It needs no conditioner. Leather trims, linings and piping do, so treat those and leave the stingray itself alone.
Store it in its dust bag away from direct sun. Bring it to us if the colour has worn through anywhere.
We ship worldwide. If a piece is faulty on our side we replace it or refund you. The choice is yours.

How to measure
In order to select the correct shoe size, we recommend you measure your feet using the following guidelines.
Wear the kind of socks or tights you would normally wear with this type of shoe.
Stand up straight on a flat surface with your heel against a wall. If necessary, ask someone else to help you take the measurements.
Measure from the base of your heel, keeping it pressed against the wall, to the tip of your longest toe.
Always measure both feet and use your longest foot as your benchmark.
