Amalfi Alligator Slip-On Loafer
Perforation is what makes this a warm weather shoe. Small openings are punched in rows through the alligator across the vamp and along the sides of the foot, so air moves through a skin that would otherwise hold heat.
The upper is alligator in a high gloss black, with the scale pattern reading through the punching. A saddle strap crosses the instep. Inside, cow leather. The outsole is rubber, so it grips and flexes.
EU 38 to 44. Wipe with a soft damp cloth, keep it on a shoe tree, and condition the leather from time to time.
Every skin is chosen individually, so no two pieces carry the same pattern.
- Material: Genuine alligator leather with a polished finish
- Skin: Scale tiles cut through with diamond perforations across the vamp and quarters
- Design: Driving moccasin with a keeper strap over a stitched apron
- Closure: Slip-on
- Toe: Rounded moccasin toe
- Lining: Cow leather
- Outsole: Rubber, wrapped up at the heel
- Sizes: EU 38 to 44
The scales are horn rather than hide, and they are what needs looking after. Keep the piece out of direct sun and away from radiators, which dry the tiles until their edges lift.
Wipe it with a soft dry cloth, working along the tiles rather than across them. If it is caught in rain, blot it and let it dry away from heat. Never dry it in front of a fire or with a hairdryer.
Use a conditioner made for exotic leather, sparingly, two or three times a year. Wax polish builds up in the seams between tiles and dulls them, so leave it alone.
Store it in its dust bag with nothing resting on it. Bring it to us before you attempt a repair.
We ship worldwide. If a piece is faulty on our side we replace it or refund you. The choice is yours.

How to measure
In order to select the correct shoe size, we recommend you measure your feet using the following guidelines.
Wear the kind of socks or tights you would normally wear with this type of shoe.
Stand up straight on a flat surface with your heel against a wall. If necessary, ask someone else to help you take the measurements.
Measure from the base of your heel, keeping it pressed against the wall, to the tip of your longest toe.
Always measure both feet and use your longest foot as your benchmark.
