Isola Crocodile Flight Jacket
Crocodile polished until each tile is outlined by the one beside it. They run large and square over the chest and grow finer as they reach the shoulder, which is how the hide grows and why the front and the back of the jacket do not match.
A flight jacket, zipped to the throat, with a fur collar set on the neckline and ribbed knit closing the hem. Two slash pockets sit at the waist.
Brown, sizes S to XL.

Wipe the skin with a soft dry cloth after wearing and condition it two or three times a year with a product made for exotic leather. Keep it out of damp and away from heat. Brush the fur collar rather than combing it, and hang the jacket on a broad hanger so the shoulders hold and the tiles are not creased.

The cut of this one
Regular fit. Take your usual size. There is room for a shirt or a fine knit underneath without the shoulder being pulled out of place.
- Tailored
- Cut close to the body.
- Regular
- Cut with room for a shirt or a fine knit.
- Relaxed
- Cut generously, to be worn over layers.
How to measure
Measure over the underwear you would normally wear, not over a jumper, and keep the tape level and close without pulling it tight.
Chest. Around the fullest part, under the arms, with your arms down.
Waist. Around the narrowest part of the natural waist, above the navel.
Neck. Around the base of the neck, with one finger between the tape and the skin.
If you fall between two rows, take the larger. Exotic skin does not stretch to fit the way a woven cloth does.
Every piece is cut and finished by hand, so one may differ from another by a centimetre or so.
