Sempione Crocodile Bomber Jacket
Sanding the grain off crocodile leaves a nap. The tiles are still there and still ridged under the hand, square across the chest and smaller where they turn into the shoulder, but light no longer bounces off them, so the skin reads dry rather than polished.
A blouson cut, zipped the whole way up, with a lamb shearling collar that turns down over the chest and the same lamb fur carried through the body. Ribbed knit at the cuffs and the hem draws the shape in.
Two slash pockets at the waist. Olive green, sizes S to XL.
- Material: Genuine crocodile leather, sanded to a nubuck finish
- Skin: Square belly tiles across the chest and back
- Design: Blouson with a lamb shearling collar
- Closure: Full-length zip
- Lining: Lamb fur
- Cuffs and hem: Ribbed knit
- Pockets: Two slash pockets at the waist
- Colours: Olive green
- Sizes: S to XL
A nubuck finish holds dust and marks more readily than a polished skin. Brush it with a soft suede brush in one direction, never with water, and keep it off damp. A suede protector refreshed once a season is enough. Hang it on a broad hanger so the shoulders keep their shape, and keep the lamb fur away from direct heat.

The cut of this one
Regular fit. Take your usual size. There is room for a shirt or a fine knit underneath without the shoulder being pulled out of place.
- Tailored
- Cut close to the body.
- Regular
- Cut with room for a shirt or a fine knit.
- Relaxed
- Cut generously, to be worn over layers.
How to measure
Measure over the underwear you would normally wear, not over a jumper, and keep the tape level and close without pulling it tight.
Chest. Around the fullest part, under the arms, with your arms down.
Waist. Around the narrowest part of the natural waist, above the navel.
Neck. Around the base of the neck, with one finger between the tape and the skin.
If you fall between two rows, take the larger. Exotic skin does not stretch to fit the way a woven cloth does.
Every piece is cut and finished by hand, so one may differ from another by a centimetre or so.
