Bormio Alligator Chelsea Boot
Tiles run widest over the toe and tighten as they rise to the collar of the boot. That is how the skin grows, and it is why the pattern differs from pair to pair.
The colour is hand-painted, pooled dark in the seams and left bright on the face of each tile. Green, brown and blue are all worked that way, with a plain black alongside them.
Elastic panels at the sides and a webbing tab at the heel, so it pulls on. Soft leather lining, full grain leather insole. A Vibram rubber outsole, deeply cut, in black. Sizes 38 to 48.
Every skin is chosen individually, so no two pieces carry the same pattern.

The scales are horn rather than hide, and they are what needs looking after. Keep the piece out of direct sun and away from radiators, which dry the tiles until their edges lift.
Wipe it with a soft dry cloth, working along the tiles rather than across them. If it is caught in rain, blot it and let it dry away from heat. Never dry it in front of a fire or with a hairdryer.
Use a conditioner made for exotic leather, sparingly, two or three times a year. Wax polish builds up in the seams between tiles and dulls them, so leave it alone.
Store it in its dust bag with nothing resting on it. Bring it to us before you attempt a repair.
We ship worldwide. If a piece is faulty on our side we replace it or refund you. The choice is yours.

How to measure
In order to select the correct shoe size, we recommend you measure your feet using the following guidelines.
Wear the kind of socks or tights you would normally wear with this type of shoe.
Stand up straight on a flat surface with your heel against a wall. If necessary, ask someone else to help you take the measurements.
Measure from the base of your heel, keeping it pressed against the wall, to the tip of your longest toe.
Always measure both feet and use your longest foot as your benchmark.
