Ravenna Ostrich Concealed Strap Shoes
Two textures of the same skin. Quill follicles, raised and evenly spaced, cover the vamp and the quarters. The toe cap, the strap and the heel counter are cut from a scaled part of the hide.
The strap closes on Velcro. Nothing shows from above, and the shoe goes on and off without a buckle to work.
Smooth leather lining and a full grain leather insole. The outsole is leather with rubber protection, on a low stacked heel. Black and brown, sizes EU 38 to 46.
Every skin is chosen individually, so no two pieces carry the same pattern.

Ostrich carries its own oils in the quill follicles, which is why it stays supple longer than most skins and why it needs less from you.
Wipe it with a soft dry cloth. The raised follicles collect dust around their base, so work gently around them rather than scrubbing across them.
Condition it once or twice a year at most, and lightly. Over-conditioned ostrich goes greasy around the quills and holds dirt.
Keep it out of direct sun and store it in its dust bag with the shape supported. Bring it to us for cleaning rather than using a solvent.

How to measure
In order to select the correct shoe size, we recommend you measure your feet using the following guidelines.
Wear the kind of socks or tights you would normally wear with this type of shoe.
Stand up straight on a flat surface with your heel against a wall. If necessary, ask someone else to help you take the measurements.
Measure from the base of your heel, keeping it pressed against the wall, to the tip of your longest toe.
Always measure both feet and use your longest foot as your benchmark.
