Orvieto Python Sunglasses Case
Python scales run in bands across the face of the case, large down the centre where the back of the skin sat and smaller as they turn towards the edge. Left natural they keep the markings of the snake. Dyed black they read as relief instead, which is the same skin doing two different things.
The zip runs around the top and the pull is leather, on a ring that takes a clip or a key. The shell is shaped and holds its form, so it protects a pair of sunglasses rather than simply covering them.
Lined in red. Black or natural snake back.

Python scales overlap in one direction, like roof tiles, and that direction decides how it is handled. Wipe along the scales and never against them, or the edges lift. Keep it out of damp and out of direct sun, and use a conditioner made for exotic skins now and then so the scales stay supple.
