Cortina Stingray Ankle Boot
Stingray is not a hide but a surface of beads, each one calcified and hard. That is why it resists scratching and water where leather does not, and why it feels like nothing else under the hand.
Here the beads are polished flat at the tips, so they read pale against the dark grey beneath. A seam runs across the toe. The zip is set at the side, with a leather loop at the back of the collar.
Smooth leather lining, a full-grain leather insole, and a leather outsole reinforced with rubber. Sizes 38 to 46, in dark grey.
Every skin is chosen individually, so no two pieces carry the same pattern.

The surface is thousands of calcified beads, which is why stingray resists scratching and water far better than hide. The colour, though, sits on top of those beads, and that is the part that wears.
Wipe it with a soft damp cloth and dry it at once. Do not scrub. An abrasive cloth or a household cleaner takes the colour off the crowns of the beads and leaves them pale.
It needs no conditioner. Leather trims, linings and piping do, so treat those and leave the stingray itself alone.
Store it in its dust bag away from direct sun. Bring it to us if the colour has worn through anywhere.

How to measure
In order to select the correct shoe size, we recommend you measure your feet using the following guidelines.
Wear the kind of socks or tights you would normally wear with this type of shoe.
Stand up straight on a flat surface with your heel against a wall. If necessary, ask someone else to help you take the measurements.
Measure from the base of your heel, keeping it pressed against the wall, to the tip of your longest toe.
Always measure both feet and use your longest foot as your benchmark.
