Our Story

At Giuseppe Lombardi we create objects that are meant to be kept—handcrafted pieces that balance Tuscan craftsmanship with modern design. From our London base we produce small-batch wallets, bags, belts and footwear using farmed-origin exotic leathers, finished by hand for lasting beauty.

Roots & Philosophy

We work slowly and intentionally. Lines are clean, proportions refined, and every decision—materials, hardware, stitching—serves comfort, function and longevity. Fewer, better pieces is our north star.

Responsible Sourcing

Our leathers (crocodile, alligator, ostrich, lizard, python and stingray) are sourced from licensed, farmed suppliers that comply with international standards (e.g., CITES). Farmed origin helps protect wild populations while ensuring traceability and consistent quality.

The Craft

Each piece moves through a traditional bench process: hand-cutting, skiving, edge-painting, saddle stitching and careful finishing. Shoes are built on comfort-focused lasts; belts are cut on the straight, backed for structure and hand-burnished; bags and wallets are lined, reinforced and inspected panel by panel.

Materials that Age Well

We choose leathers for their unique character—distinct scales, depth of colour and natural strength. With proper care they develop a soft sheen and patina that is uniquely yours.

Personalisation & Bespoke

Monogramming, custom sizing and special colour orders are available on many styles. For true one-of-a-kind commissions, our atelier offers a bespoke service.
